FEATURING
Community Leadership Award Honoree, The Rainbow Room has been embracing youth of all gender identities, gender expressions, and sexual orientations since 2002. The Rainbow Room provides a safe space for LGBTQ+ youth to learn age-appropriate sexual education, watch queer films, and do creative activities like arts and crafts. Giving young people a safe space to learn and be themselves is an amazing example of community leadership and HRC is proud to honor them with this award at the 2023 Greater Philadelphia Dinner! Or Sign Up Here!Policy on Covid-19 Vaccine Requirements to attend in-person indoor events produced by the Human Rights Campaign:
The Human Rights Campaign and Human Rights Campaign Foundation require all guests attending in-person indoor events produced by the organization to be up to date on vaccinations. The CDC defines being up to date on vaccination as:
● completing the 2 dose primary series for Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or
● the single dose Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine
And
● at least 1 booster shot, such as Pfizer or Moderna
Proof of full vaccination, by showing a vaccine card, clear photo of the card or vaccine passport app will be accepted, and will be required for entrance to any HRC event, along with a picture ID. Those who are not fully vaccinated will not be admitted to HRC events.
Additionally, HRC encourages attendees to wear masks when not eating or drinking or when six feet of social distance cannot be maintained.
As the Covid-19 public health emergency is an ever-evolving situation, HRC reserves the right to add, adjust and institute further attendance requirements as deemed necessary right up until the event begins. HRC will communicate any material changes to our policy, as we continue to monitor the CDC, state and local guidelines.
By attending the event, you acknowledge that HRC expects all participants at HRC events to comply with CDC, state and local COVID-related guidelines, rules and requirements, which continue to evolve, that you are attending at your own risk and that you release HRC, its officers, directors, agents, employees and assigns from any liability related to COVID-19 which might occur as a result of your attendance.
If you have questions regarding this, please contact membership@hrc.org ahead of the event.
